Introduction

Purpose

Every individual & family will have a lot of records/information spread across several places. This includes assets, financials, and other records. This software is intended to consolidate all such data into one place where one will have easy access. This will be a transition from the legacy manual storage & collection of such items into one integrated digital storage. You can get any information at the tip of your finger any time, if all the data are available at one place. Images of all documents can be stored within the software for easy access, and view/copy/print when needed. The era of running around for personal records has come to an end. You will be reminded by this software to get things done on time. And it is highly secured and safe. This software can be run from a Desktop Computer or Laptop running Windows OS, and can be stored on the computer’s hard disk, external hard disk, or even on a pen-drive. Installation will not tie the software to the Registry entries of the computer. So this software has mobility and safety.


Any Country

MAIO is built in such a way that it can be used in any country. This means it can handle multiple currencies with different decimal places, and accommodate to the country-specific date format. Conversion of the foreign currency to base (local) currency is automatic, provided the exchange rates are given correctly.


Restricting Access to Screens

You can decide which all MAIO screens should have access restrictions. You can also disable selective screens on the menus itself. If it is only Protected, screens will be displayed but High Security Password need to be entered in order to see the details on screen. You can set these options judiciously.


Mobility of MAIO

Unlike other software packages, MAIO will not be tied up to the computer where you install it. It just needs the base folder and all sub-folders created by it to run without any problem. This means you can copy the system to any other computer and use if needed. Alternatively, you can install or copy it to removable devices such as USB Flash drives / Pen Drives & external hard disks and use it from there. The only hitch in this is the speed when run from flash drives or external devices.


Secrecy & Safety of Valuable Data [It’s a Safe Vault]

MyALLinONE, as it says, is a place where all your valuable data are stored. So, this software should act as a safe vault where you have stored them.

General Concepts

Browse/Form

Each Software follows its own way of presenting data. Ultimately the easiness of User-interface is what matters. It should be easy to enter data, find them when needed, get alerts depending on conditions, etc. The method adopted in MAIO is to display all entered records (of a particular function) in a list (Browse) first. You can scroll up or down to see more records. You can Query and Filter records based on conditions you specify. You can delete unwanted records, if you wish. For adding and changing records you will be taken to a different screen (Form) where you will see the details of the respective record only. Once adding or changing is completed, that screen will be closed and will return to the earlier Browse screen where you can see the additions or changes you made along with other collection of records. Basically, you can act on multiple records in Browse screen and on one record on Form screen. And data is entered or changed through Form screen and analysed or viewed through Browse screen.

Data Filter Centre

This is a very powerful and easy-to-use interface by which you can analyse data. All sorts of conditions can be applied against any field displayed in the Browse Screen, all without writing a single line of code. You click on the particular field in the Browse, which you want to use for a condition, drag it and drop in the Data Filter Centre. Immediately a condition is created for you, which you can change based on your need. You can double-click on each field (except the Value/Expression) in the Data Filter Centre to open up a list of choices to build the conditions suitable for your need. You can see the conditions created for you and once finished creating conditions, click on the “Apply” button and there you are. The list of records in the Browse screen will now be based on the conditions applied. You can save Query sets and re-use them when needed at a later time. Any number of Query sets can be created and used depending on the need.

Reports

EJCONSULTINGiT supports the move for “
Save Trees” and so discourages printing reports. All details are available on screen. In case any Custodian feels it absolutely necessary to have any specific printed report, they may contact support@ejconsultingit.com. EJCONSULTINGiT will then analyse the need and decide whether to include it or not. However, such requests from Registered Custodians only will be entertained.
